Connecting a Network-Attached Storage Device

I don't recall ever having trouble connecting my network-attached storage device to a computer running Windows XP or Linux. With Windows 10, however, I was scratching my head for quite a while.

I've forgotten exactly how I did this. My notes are "Connected Natasha (had to change discovery and sharing settings)".
