Trivets
I was inspired to try making trivets by Tamar's video. I thought that trivets would make good gift items, at least for people who have other people over to dinner. Tamar made it look so easy. I knew that I would need a drill press, and this project is mainly what motivated me to build one. I'm very happy that I did, I've used it for so many things, but making the trivets is not going so well.
Maybe you should read about my coasters or small boxes instead.
